1 - "Why did you not reply to my email/message?"

If we did not reply to your message it can be due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to:
- harassments/bullying
- discriminatory and/or abusive behavior
- threats of violence/stalking and/or dangerous practices
- Spam/consistent messaging

2 - Can my submissions remain anonymous?
​
Yes! your submissions can remain anonymous as long as it is a valid submission. please inform us at the start of your message

3 - what is considered a valid submission?
​
A valid submission is a story, piece of evidence or content that is designed to highlight a certain issue and/or provide an alternative viewpoint. If you make a statement that may fall under self promotion or legal scrutiny (such as libel/defamation) we ask you to seek professional legal advice before making a submission. As publishers we are awarded some protections (if relevant) such as "public interest", "fair reporting" and "qualified privilege" but this same protection may not be afforded to you.

4 - Will Thought Digest host an indigenous-only/Minority specific program?

Thought Digest provides content to an Australian-wide audience but we are not inclined or planning to cater for specific groups. It is stated this platform should not be treated as a primary newssource for indigenous affairs, please seek SBS and NITV as an alternative.

5 - who funds/owns Thought Digest?
​
We are currently owned under a Sole Tradership ABN 14 597 521 077 as an unincorporated entity. Our funding is derived from private equity, crowdfunding and retained earnings.
6 - Does Thought Digest receive political contributions, leverage or other unethical advantages?

We are 100% Tasmanian-owned with a pledge to hold editorial and financial independence, however due to the early days of the platform we cannot limit nor disclose any private contributions. We do not, nor will ever accept political donations or any form of concessions.

7 - "you are so biased!?!!"

Sometimes we make mistakes, whether that being a missing piece of information or factors such as poor video release timing with world events. It's in our best community and financial interests to provide you and other Australian's the most neutral content possible, although sadly we cannot be perfect :|

8 - content licensing, takedown requests and copyright

Thought Digest utilizes content such as audio, video, animations and other elements which have been licensed to us to use, however we cannot guarantee older content and it's constituent elements have been licensed. If you believe any content we have used has breached Fair Use and Australian/United States Copyright laws please contact us at eicthoughtdigest@gmail.com for a resolution to the issue.
9 - Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer

Thought Digest pledges to remain 100% AI-Free in our writing and editing processes as we believe human composition and judgement are crucial to ensure we provide accurate and real content. However, we cannot guarantee images, graphics or animations (especially from 3rd parties) are AI-Free. We also acknowledge that Thought Digest uses AI in the brainstorming of content ideas and as restricted workplace acceleration (creating lists, tables, non-intrusive tools).
