he Church is immovable it’s that simple, and for those who argue that it can, you’re very much mistaken. The Catholic Church has been teaching beliefs for well over 2000 years since it’s inception by Jesus Christ and unfortunately now it is under attack by external socio-political influences within the Anglosphere.

Archbishop Julian Porteous, A stout defender of Catholic values in Australia

Individuals who are part of minority groups are attempting to impose political and secular beliefs on religious institutions such as schools and services (ABC News, 14th May) and this has clearly been seen by political parties such as The Greens and Labor who have at this time given up implementing any changes. Unfortunately, there are persistent lobbyists such as Independent MP Kristie Johnson, Equality Tasmania and it’s director Mr Richardson, various students from secular schools such as Elizabeth College, and influential parents on school boards such as the case result with St Cuthbert’s (ABC News, 30th May) which decided to cave into progressive politics and failed to remain apolitical and has completely rejected catholic teachings by attempting to ignore the faith and change anything else that they do abide to.

Christianity is the building block….the pillar of Western civilization, and the unfortunate truth is if we remove the pillars, the building will fall and that’s clearly what we are seeing in the Anglosphere today. The thing that is supposedly meant to replace the Church…“woke” culture fails to give any sort of meaning or direction in people's lives. Instead, it’s a system of control to ensure everyone fits into labels and categories, that believes certain minority categories get oppressed by majority categories. and secondly, it's a set of beliefs based on self-centeredness, obsessions and feelings rather than believing in the cold hard truth.

The Hon. Eric Abetz (MP) | Another strong supporter of Christian rights

Fortunately, we have strong Christian supporters in Tasmania including Archbishop Porteous, Bishop Richard Condie, Minster Eric Abetz, the Liberal Party and most Christian denominations here. It’s critical that the church remains steadfast and ready, and that external factors will not undermine the mission and teachings of the Church.
